FPA 200 WEEK 4

WEEK : 4

                                                                   6.20 a.m - 6.50 a.m 

Students gather at the rollcall site. Cr takes the attendance of the students and we do exercise to warm up.  

6.50 a.m - 7.40 a.m 

All students are asked to gather at the agrotech site. Apart from that, students also sang the national anthem, the faithful vision of uitm citizens and the planters song.

7.40 a.m - 8.15 a.m 

students move to the durian plot and then lecterur briefing about our task.

8.15 a.m - 9.30 a.m 

lecterur told us to identify the problems and diseases facing durian trees.

                              PROBLEMS :

durian trees suffer from holes in the leaves caused by pests

SUGGESTIONS :

use more pesticides to reduce leaf holes

PROBLEMS :

trees suffer from withered leaves due to lack of nutrients

SUGGESTIONS : 

provide more nutrients and provide enough fertilizer

the tree burns on the leaves and holes

SUGGESTIONS :

watering with large quantities of water to restore over-fertilized soil

PLANNING FOR NEXT WEEK

1. Fertilizer

A) The tools required are:

- Bucket (1 unit)

- Small scoop (1 unit)

- Gloves (1 pair)

B) Input: NPK fertilizer

- NPK Green for small trees (0.5kg/tree X 2 trees = 1 kg)

- NPK Blue for large trees (1kg X 8 trees = 8 kg)

The amount of NPK fertilizer used for my 10 trees is 9 kg.

2. Circle Weeding

    A) The tools needed are:

- Grass machine (1 unit)

Input:

- Petrol oil (1 liters)

- 2T oil (10ml)

- Nylon Strap (3 sets )
